Aisha Mulera

Aisha Mulera has been doing basketry for 6 to 7 years. Aisha decided to employ herself after she lacked fees to continue her dream of being a nurse and since she knew how to weave using her hands, she received mentorship, put her art into practise and started coming up with various designs for for her specialist hand weaving skills.Aisha has the urge to use her skills to empower other young women to earn an income. It has made her happy since working with many women in need in Kibera; who are learning from her and doing a great job in basket weaving
